Accommodation in the hut: 

  • 2 rooms for 14 and 16 people equipped with sleeping places
  • 1 room for 6 people equipped with sleeping places and a kitchen

  • hut is equipped with the petrol generator

There are 4 wireframe tents (2.2х4 meters each) on the adjacent territory. Two of tents can be used as kitchen and dinning room for expeditions provided with the necessary equipment.

 Cost of accommodation for citizens of Kyrgyzstan

Large rooms with 14-16 beds- 250 som\person\day
Large rooms - are free for the Kyrgyz Alpine mountaineering veterans (45 years old and older with the 1st category of mountaineering and higher)
6 beds room (for no more than 6 people) - 300 som\person\day or 1500 som\day for a room
Framehouse - 50 som\person\day
Mountain guides and climbers with category of mountaineering get 25% discount **

* Kitchen and dining room equipment: tables, benches, kitchen table, gas stove with a reducer, kitchen utensils, tableware.

** The list of mountain guides should be represented by the Mountain Guide Association, lists of mountaineering veteran - by the club instructors who obtains year valid personalized ticket for staying in a hut with using privileges.

 

 Cost of accommodation for foreign citizens

6 beds room (no more than 6 people) - 5000 som/room/day (EUR 80 or USD 125USD)

  • Kyrgyz mountaineering veterans, mountain guides, Kyrgyz alpine instructors and climbers - members of the Kyrgyz Alpine sections free accommodation in the frame-houses **
  • Three of the tents reserved only for the Kyrgyz mountaineers 
  • Accommodation on the condition of rooms availability.

Rent of camping and climbing equipment

  • Base camp tent for 2-3 person - 400 som / day (EUR 7 or USD 10)

  • Saucepans , teapots, frying pans - 20 som / day (EUR 0.5 or USD 0.5)
  • Polyester warm weather sleeping bag - 80 som / day (EUR 1.5 or USD 2.5) 
  • Down sleeping bag - 170 som / day (EUR 2.8 or USD 4.2)
  • Sleeping pad - 30 som / day (EUR 0.5 or USD 0.8)
  • Blanket - 50 som / day (EUR 1 or USD 1.5)
  • Linen for sleeping bag - 50 som / day (EUR 1 or USD 1.5) and 25 soms each extra day 

 Staying in a tent

It is possible to stay in tents near the hut with the manager' permission. The territory of 30 meters to the west and 75 meters to the east around the hut belongs to the hut and is avaible for tent. It is not allowed to put tent on the “Green zone” around Ak-Sai Hut in order to protect grass and flowers from the trampling down.

What to do with the garbage

 

Separate the garbage into three parts:

  1. food waste
  2. burning garbage
  3. non-combustible refuse (metal, glass etc.)

Following actions to take:

1. Food waste should be put in to the "food waste" container
2. The burning garbage can be left on the moraine nearby the helipad
3. Please take other garbage (metal, bottles etc.) down to the nearest garbage bin.

Kyrgyz Alpine Club provides the following services for the mountain expedition according to the prices of ITMC Tien-Shan

  • Off-road vehicles: URAL (16 seats, 6WD), KAMAZ (22 seats, 6WD), GAS-66 (12 seats, 4 WD), UAZ-452 (7 seats, 4WD).

Mountain Lodge Ltd has a Contract for Professional Service with Mountain Rescue Service of Slovak Repiblic (HZS). This project will be conducted with support of SlovakAID. Mountain Lodge Ltd as co-financing partner contributes about 30% of total costs for reconstruction of the hut. 

Mammut is a partner in a hut reconstruction.
